Neat and discrete PV solution for new build homes
One of the main criteria specified by our customers was that the PV systems on their new homes should be discrete, so SOL Electrical designed and installed a 1.8kW array for each house that uses a novel in-roof mounting system. This gives the impression that the solar modules are a part of the actual roof surface, rather than being mounted on the roof.
PV helps meet building regulations
Our customers and their architect were keen to incorporate PV panels into the roof of the new build houses to help reach the required SAP rating, as well as to reduce electrical consumption and provide a long-term income from the available Feed-In Tariff.
